Meet Jason Peacock
"I first caught the passion for fine woodworking from my father -- he was also a carpenter and craftsman.
Back when I was 18, I began working side-by-side with my dad on finish carpentry, staircase trims and other projects. Then I had the good luck to meet my 'other mentor' – Rick Vyhnalek of Floor One. From Rick, I learned the skills of a fine floor craftsman during a five-year apprenticeship. But I learned much more – learned how I wanted to run a business.
I decided that a good owner runs the business side -- but is still very involved 'hands on' in the work. That guarantees the level of quality I want to put my name on. With Peacock Floors, I have done just that. I make sure everything is done as if I were 'the only guy.' My reputation is earned only when a homeowner is happy with the way we did the work - and the beauty of their final finished floor." - Jason Peacock
